Elwood's Spot

Elwood is pictured in the photo that heads this blog.
He died last September and now rests under the roses in the photo below.
I had been waiting for the right plant to present itself.
The roses are small, like Elwood was for a mastiff, but they have a sweet fragrance.
They are climbers and stay green all winter.
